Retargeting marketing shows your Facebook and Instagram ads to people who already know your business. They may have visited your website, watched one of your videos or messaged your page.
Most visitors leave without buying or getting in touch. However, many of them are still interested. They simply got distracted, or they wanted to compare a few options first. Retargeting brings you back into view, so they remember you when they are ready to act.
First, we add the Meta Pixel to your website, or we check the one you already have. The pixel records which pages people visit. As a result, we can build audiences such as “viewed a service page” or “started an enquiry but did not finish”.
Then we create ads for each audience. For example, someone who read your prices might see a customer review. Meanwhile, someone who left a full basket might see the product they left behind.
We also limit how often each person sees your ads. That way, your brand stays visible without becoming annoying.
People who already know you are more likely to respond than complete strangers. Because of this, retargeting ads often cost less per enquiry than ads shown to cold audiences.
Retargeting also works well alongside our other services. It is especially useful with Facebook ad management and Facebook lead generation, since those campaigns bring new people to your site in the first place.
Meta explains the basics in its own guide to retargeting on Facebook. If you would like us to set it up for you, contact our Manchester team or choose a package below.
